Our Menu
We’ve forged innovative partnerships with local farmers and producers to ensure we are getting the freshest and best ingredients and are able to provide a unique culinary experience. Our beverage program focuses on wines and cocktails that offer plenty of opportunities for discovery.
Reservations
Please note that cancellations, especially those with fewer than 24-hours notice, negatively impact our business.
We understand that plans change and kindly ask that you try to notify us as far in advance as possible if you need to reschedule your reservation. That allows us maximum time to offer the reservation to those on our growing wait list. Please call us for parties larger than six.

Ben Moenster (pronounced Monster) is Executive Chef at Herbst Eatery & Farm Stand.
Most recently, Moenster was Chef de Cuisine at Spoon & Stable, where for the past two years he oversaw a staff of 32 and was responsible for developing recipes and menus for the award-winning restaurant. Prior to joining Gavin Keysen’s team at Spoon & Stable, Moenster was Chef de Cuisine at Parlor/Borough for five years. During that time, he was a finalist in the “Rising Star” category at the Charlie Awards. He also has served stints as sous chef at three Minneapolis restaurants including Monello, La Belle Vie and on the opening team at LynnHall. He also worked as a line cook at Sea Change.
Moenster, 33, is a native of Denmark, which is where his culinary career began. After a short time in culinary school, Moenster jumped into the kitchen at a small restaurant in his hometown of Aarhus. There he learned all aspects of the industry and gained the confidence to move to America and continue his culinary career in the Twin Cities. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Miranda, and daughter, Mila.
